X-Lock product line receives National Innovation award

At Weiler Abrasives, we have yet again succeeded in a remarkable achievement. As the first abrasive product manufacturer, we have developed a complete line of X-LOCK cutting and grinding wheels, flap discs, and power brushes. The X-LOCK product line is so revolutionary that we applied to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Innovation and were awarded a gold award at the regional level. To win the gold award of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Innovation awards, we had to rank on the national level and convince the expert jury with our innovation.

FROM EVOLUTION TO REVOLUTION

The subject of our gold-winning innovation is the comprehensive range of X-LOCK cutting and grinding wheels and flap discs. With its quick clamping system, X-LOCK simplifies the use of angular abrasive wheels, which had been practically free from essential improvements regarding clamping since 1938. 
The product line was created in partnership with Bosch. Bosch has developed angle grinders with a new clamping capsule and patented a new system of clamping of abrasive products. We, as the first supplier of abrasive products, succeeded in developing and offering a comprehensive range of cutting and grinding wheels.
Due to the different geometry of X-LOCK products, we had to change the compression technology, tools, and stacking system for thermal treatment. We have developed a new measurement method ensuring safety according to the highest standards.
By developing new compression techniques, we have set new standards for measuring and ensuring the grinding industry's safety. The new manufacturing methods of our products do not affect their efficiency and quality, so X-LOCK products are just as effective, high quality, and safe as any other conventional line of comparable products.
