Obtaining co-funding for THE WE GRIND 5.0 PROJECT

WEILER ABRASIVES OBTAINS co-funding for A PROJECT FOCUSING ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INNOVATIVE PRODUCT AND SOLUTIONS

MARIBOR, Slovenia - January 15, 2024 – Weiler Abrasives, a leading provider of abrasives, power brushes and maintenance products for surface conditioning, is pleased to announce that in collaboration with Nomnio d.o.o. and Kalmia d.o.o., it has successfully obtained co-funding for the Intelligent system for reducing vibrations during surface treatment (WE Grind 5.0) project. The project, which will be carried out from January 2024 to January 2026, has received support under the Call for Proposals for Research and Development Projects within The Recovery and Resilience Plan; the RRP (JR RRI NOO) and is co-funded by the European Union  - The Recovery and Resilience Plan and the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia.

With a total project value of 605,000 EUR, of which 299,000 EUR is co-financed, the WE Grind 5.0 project focuses on developing an innovative product and solutions that reduce environmental impact within the process of roll grinding. This project reflects our commitment to innovation and sustainable development in the industry.
